Multicultural Day:
Open to the whole school through signup genius in hyperlink. Students and their parents can signup for a slot [note that there is a max of 10-15 slots - first come-first serve].
Parents who sign up will need to provide a layout of what they plan to do (as well as include recipes for food allergies) 2 weeks before the date.
Ms. Ramus' cultural class will prepare decorations and items for the event using their cultural times each week, which will include world maps, sculptures, passports, etc.
Time: 9:00am-2:30pm with a break for lunches
Set up: partially the day before and parent set up from 8:30-9am before classes arrive
Clean up: end of school day and rest at 3:30pm
Classrooms will individually sign up for a 30 minute time slot to bring their classes down to enjoy and experience the culture
****Assistance with volunteers*****
Each event will need help setting up, cleaning up, and helping to move the classrooms through the stations. If interested in volunteering, please email Ms. Ramus at [email protected]? A signup genius for volunteers with all the information they will need will also be created.
