Fourth and Fifth Year Parents:
It is hard to believe that graduation is quickly approaching for the 6th year students.
For many of them, this is the end of 7 years of Montessori learning, which has helped not only
shape their education, but also their character. This is a time of celebration for their past and
future successes. They are busy preparing for this event by reflecting on their time spent at
BCMCS and writing speeches to share those reflections and memories with all of us.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 here at BCMCS with Friday,
June 16th as the rain date. We are asking both the 4th and 5th year parents to contribute to this
event. It is a great way to honor the 6th years’ hard work, leadership in the classroom, as well
as support them during their graduation. We are asking each family to please donate $5.00 or
$10.00. You may bring your donation with you to Parent-Teacher Conferences on April 13th or
14th in an envelope marked “6thYear Graduation Donation”, send it in with your student at
another time, or donate online using the “PTO fundraising” link located at the bottom of BCMCS’
main webpage, but please no later than Monday, May 15th. Thank You!
Any contribution amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated. This money will be used to
purchase food, decorations, and supplies for the ceremony. We will also need volunteers to help
with setup, clean up, and food serving at the event. A Sign-Up Genius will be created and sent
out via email to help us coordinate volunteers.
Thank you, in advance, for your help and support. We could not do this without you. There is no
better way to honor this class of graduates than with your show of support for their big night.
