On Wednesday, June 3rd, BCMCS will be having its annual Walk-a-thon to support Fox
Chase Cancer Center Temple Health and their mission: "As one of the four original
cancer centers to receive comprehensive designation from the National Cancer
Institute, Fox Chase Cancer Center has been at the forefront of cancer research for
almost 90 years. We have world class programs in blood cell development and function,
cancer prevention and control, cancer signaling and epigenetics, as well as molecular
therapeutics. Our singular focus on cancer, which couples discovery science with state-
of-the-art clinical care and population health, remains the foundation of our work." All
donations will be applied to their “Support Our Strength Fund”.
The Walk-a-thon will take place from 9:15 am – 11:15 am.
   
We are in need of coolers, bags of ice and already frozen ice pops.  Any
donations are greatly appreciated as we are hoping for a warm sunny day!

We are all so excited to walk and raise money for this very important organization.  We
are so happy to be able to continue this BCMCS tradition which encourages our

students to learn the importance of helping others.
