The expressive art club, hosted by Tara Bane, will begin and run for 10 weeks every Tuesday after school for grades 1-6. Please see the attached flier for more information on signing up.

This year, our 3rd Graders will be working with Scholastic Book Clubs and their Pajama Program to help make bedtime better for kids in need by donating pajamas. We hope you will help us give kids a cozy night and a brighter day by bringing in a set [must be complete top and bottom OR onesie] to donate by November 30th -- Scholastic will include a book with each donated pair. Hello to our BCMCS Readers! We know that all our classes have been doing a lot of reading this past week ... Let’s keep going! Don't forget that the PTO is sponsoring our annual Reading Challenge. Hyperlinked to the heading is the flyer with all the details.

Be sure to come to the Barnes and Noble Bookfairs on February 23rd at 6p. You will be able to listen to your teachers read, have dinner or snacks in the Cafe, partake in the scavenger hunt, and so much more. See flyer hyperlinked to above heading for further details and information.

Valentine Grams are a fun tradition at BCMCS! Valentine Grams can be sent to school friends, siblings, staff or teachers and even others. The grams will come with a Valentine's day card with colorful playing dough individually wrapped in a cellophane bag. The cost is $.75 each. A fundraiser for Shady Brook Farms Fall Fest is currently underway. Enjoy a day or night of your choice while supporting our PTO. See flyer hyperlinked above for how to buy tickets online.

Be sure to come in your fanciest outfits, as Staff and Parent Volunteers, Michele Freiling and Lorraine McHale, will be conducting student photos for families and for this year's Yearbook. April 20th will be set aside for In Person Students, and April 21st for Virtual. Individual photos will be sent directly to parent at no charge.
