Reading Olympics
BCMCS Reading OIympics is getting ready to launch our 2026 season. If you are interested in being a part of our team please read the information below carefully.
Over the next few months, participants will strive to read as many books from the official Reading Olympics list as they can before the competition date. At the competition, our students will work as a team to answer questions based on the books they have read.
We ask each participant to commit to reading AT LEAST 10 books from the list. However, this is the minimum requirement. The books each student has ready the more opportunities for success at our competition. Students are also required to submit three questions for each book they read. All books are available at school as well as your local library.
Meetings will be held most Wednesdays after school, 3:30-4:30 in UE2.
